朝９時、華強北路（ホワチャンベイルー）に、深圳市全体から出勤、仕事に集まります。仕事の内容は毎日同じようなものですが、毎日違う人と会って、毎日新しいことが起こります。朝１０時、華強北路のマーケットが開店します。まだ１０時なのに大勢の人がすでに集まっています。華強北路の隅々まではわからないけど、とにかく大きいけど、類似商品が一か所に集まっている。たとえば携帯電話・スマートホンなどの専門街が沢山あります。色々な種類・デザインの電話・スマホを発見します。電子部品に関しては私が知っているだけでも１１個のビルが建っています。仕事で良く調達に行くところだけでもね。皆さん、これらのビルで必要なものを探すわ。
デジタル商品を買いにこの街に来る通常のお客さんに加えて、この時期帰省する人でごった返しています。でもすぐに閑散とします。春節（中国で旧暦元旦、一年でもっとも重要な祭日）の２月３日にはこの電子街はお休みです。
